Things can get better. The Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge is on land that was once considered one of the 3-4 most toxic places in America. It was cleaned up and made into a wildlife refuge.

Testing seems to show that the animals are toxin free and the cleanup has been successful. I think it's so cool to see the wildlife with the Denver skyline in the background. We can live together with nature if we're willing to put in just a little effort.

15,000 acres of land just 10 miles outside of Denver in Commerce City, is a bit of an urban miracle. The area has gone from Plains Indians hunting grounds to homesteader farmland to WWII weapons arsenal to agricultural-chemical plant to peaceful sanctuary for more than 280 native plants and 330 animal species, including mule deer, coyotes, bison, songbirds, burrowing owls and bald eagles.

I'm glad you clarified that. I thought you were going to say shagging Wildebeests (post Mandela spelling used)

    Hi Kurt,

    Amen dude.

Being in New Zealand now, I've been inspired to see a country's full commitment to keeping it clean and pristine. Maybe the most jaw-dropping place on earth. The government puts a tremendous effort into keeping it clean and largely pollution free, trickling down to citizens, tourists and expats.

If people are all in, we can make these shifts the world over.

Just a quick selfie from the deck here in Opotiki:

Yes, l thought that balls of string would get a mention?

But l have seen the latest Star Wars, and eventhough better than l expected Carrie Fisher doing the Mary Poppins routine in space, garbaged it.

As well as spinning the AT AT scene, but anyway getting of subject.

Ok, Kurt nice image, but the giant milk carton in the background is a worry!

I hope that Claude wasn't in charge of the cleanup.
