Important Question about the forum rules.

Hello I have a question about
some of the interpretation of the rules.

Is it considered shameless promotion,
advertising and spam If I'd offer my service
for free just once, without posting any links or
anything.

I'm asking this, because I decided I want to offer
my service for free once, so I can prove to myself
that I am capable of providing the service in such
a way that it accomplishes the goals I have set
for myself and the client.

    Yes, it would be considered advertsing and deleted.

    There are two options I see:

    1. You can pay $5 for a signature and put a link in your signature with the free offer. Note that sigs have their own rules so you'd need to make sure you were in compliance with them.

    2. Put an ad in the marketplace. Most people that are trying out new services and want reviews or trying to do something similar to what you are wanting to do post here: https://www.warriorforum.com/wanted-...oking-hire-you I know you aren't trying to hire anyone but that's probably the best place to do the ad.

      I am naviown and I dont understand why I was banned?!
      I havent done anything bad, I havent broke any rules, my content is unique.

        It was my fault. There's a lot of spam we mods delete every day and I accidently included one of your posts with a number of other spam posts and you were included in a ban.

        Sadly, we mods only have the ability to ban but not to unban. I've put in a request to have your ban lifted.

        I'm really sorry for you being banned, you didn't break the rules and am trying to get it fixed as soon as possible. It was simply a matter of me clicking a wrong button.

    Yes. If you've paid for a sig, you can use it to link to your WSO.

    The 'ban' was in error. It was a moderator mistake that happens occasionally - it will be fixed ASAP but we need to wait for Gab to take care of it.

    As DW said, Gabriel (the admin) is aware of the problem and will take care of it. To make your situation even worse, I accidently banned you on a Friday night, just before the weekend when there's no admins on duty.
