Malwarebytes and Avast?

Does Malwarebytes and Avast work good together or Are these two entirely different programs? Do I need both.

    I was reading on different sources and find out that malwarebytes are more better than Avast. Its also mentioned that Malwarebytes is anti-malware and avast is anti-virus software so there is no comparison.


    However, I read this comparison and found that if you get latest malwarebytes version you don't need Avast anti virus.

    And Marware, etc, latest version is paid, but older computers can use it for free.

    I'm also behind Malwarebytes. I have been using this program for a long time and it has never failed me. So use and you.

      I use a free old version for one of my Laptops, but use Norton for my newer one, (Malware, is good but not free on newer ones).

    I've used every Anti Virus programs out there the best one in the world is Bitdefender.
