Had a pretty good day all up, eventhough my fav, coffee shop was closed at Fed, Square, (you know the one that Apple wants to de,...put a shop in).

Read my fav, evil paper, and had some donut things, with caramel sauce, while looking at this scene.

That is Princess Bridge if you are wondering.

I obviously had to take a shot of the seagulls while fetching the paper, although the sparrows tend to go indoors for a bite, (always good to have a floor show).

And here is the view from the other direction, Yarra river and some red thing.

Then made my way up to Melbourne central, and back down, noticing this rock.

About all l can say is it is an Australian Opal, probably Cooper Peedy.

Then ended up in Hotel Sofitel, 35 floor, with the great views of Melbourne.

Thanks for the good pictures. Forget it is Winter in your area seeing all the heavy coats. Since it it is Summer here. Hot & humid with a forecast Monday & Tuesday in the upper 90's. Question is that coffee in that mug buy the doughnuts ?

    Looks like a fun time.

Chilly down there too I see. Last month I went from 2 degrees in New Zealand to 42 in New Jersey. What a swing. Definitely invited though as the cold got to me.

Thanks for sharing these neat photos.

FYI - been warmer than 42 here in NJ about the past 2 months been in shorts since late May except for the fews day we had very heavy rains. Sure you meant to say something like 80s to 90s. Even early mornings in the 60's on the coolest days.

FYI - 42 celsius = 107 degrees farenheit. unless you are thinking of the heat index

Yep, full strength, unfortunately, but no gain without pain.

Welcome Ryan, yep it was 15 and sunny, although still cold, but the train line maintenance was finally over, so l went for it, (l would have had to take a bus for some of the half hour journey which would have added another 50 minutes, pfffft).

I wasn't all fun and games thought, but overall.
