They are not saying that the Mars rover went through torrential rain, and is dripping , only that a few buckets of soil should give them a small glass of water, if it was extracted.

    PS, l know, Whatti will say, "least the lizard people have ample water for their crops" and Frank will say, "when are you moving there" and Claude, well, last l heard he went on holiday to the Wooster Donut factory, and hasn't been seen since.
    So you are saying that it took them this long to discover that there was loads of water in the Martian soil?. Something stinks about this one, and it's not Claude's Restroom.

      As always if you want the truth go to the raw images, and if you want the toned down, homogenized, pasteurized version wait for a press release.
