I personally don't know OptedIn.. ive never communicated with him directly in any way.. other than here on the forum. I have gathered over the years of reading him, his health is not all that great.

I have noticed I guess in the last month, he has not been active.. Love him or hate him, he was pretty knowledgeable when he wanted to be, and as long as his bent tongue wasn't pointed in your direction, he was kind of amusing to read.

So if you could for a moment today, just take a sec and send some positive vibes his way...

Or if you do know him personally... just let him know his presents is missed!

    I talked to him yesterday.

    His health is fine, for a 70 year old my with a pace maker.

    He's just taking a break from the forums.

    When I talked to him, I told him that he was missed by many of us. And he appreciated it.

    This may be hard for some to believe, but under...way under... his gruff exterior is a real good guy who wants to help others.

    You are right. He's knowledgeable and smart. And he doesn't suffer fools easily. They frustrate him. It must be an age thing, because I know how he feels.

              In Riffle's case, yes. Exchanging him for any goods would count. Used cars, drugs, manure, anything.

      nothing to do with age.. just the age we are in ..and fools feel it is their right to make others suffer so they themselves do look foolish

      I've always appreciated his acerbic sense of humour. There are others on here who share that trait (I like to include myself among that crowd), who enjoy posts from people who can give back on the same level as good as they get.
