I'm surprised that the Trabant never seems to be as high on such lists as I think it should be. The writer of the list REALLY badmouths the model T, but it was FAR older at a time when technology wasn't great, etc..... That should be taken into account.

I mean if it weren't, the apple II would have to be on a similar list of computers. BUT, to be fair, for the apple II to be on such a list, the 1802,4004, and many others would have to be there, and the apple would probably not even be on the list, since it would be too far down.

BTW I think GM used to be more highly thought of. In fact I think at one point in time their top of the line was literally the CADILLAC! Wow, I didn't even realize that THAT was so old. Apparently, the first cadillac looked like THIS:

Ugly, soulless, characterless...

Hideous, the lot of them

Yes, most modern cars, are jukeboxes on wheels, which have to flash and squeal every-time you lock or unlock the thing.

I have lost count as it how many times l have seen kids, watching something in their car, and draining the battery to a point where it wouldn't start.

And the silly idea of the car engine automatically turning off at street lights to save fuel, well l hear everyone around me, starting their engines, (l know pressing the accelerator) while l just go)...

Modern cars are entertaining, convenient and comfortable, but that is about it.

And if they age too much can be more expensive to repair, and more expensive to drive, (have to replace the battery, more often for one thing).

At least it's a car derived with Human feelings, from a drawing board, not an oversized lump of **** derived by a piece of software and a few clicks of mouse, from a so-called designeer, whose plugged into his/her computer-generated tunes all day.

I was hoping to see the De Lorean, and wasn't disappointed.

But also spotted a Ford Edsel, which bombed, and l believe after reading half of Henry Fords, autobiography, that he named it after his inept son.
