16 Years in the Sadllle: A Warrior's Tale

I joined the Warrior Forum way back in January 2006 as a relative newbie. My website was about 3 years old at the time. I had got things going but I was not pulling up any trees, as they say, However, I got a lot of ideas from this place and tried many of them out too and, in the fullness of time, my website eventually took off.

At its peak, I was getting about 30 sign-ups per day and I build a huge list that I managed to monetise, selling some of my own products. Then, about 8 years ago, it all started going downhill. It was around the time of the Google 'panda' updates, so I put it down to that, though I don't really know for sure. I lost about 90% of my traffic and 90% of the income I had built up. It was a tough time for me.

But - you know what they say about winners and quitters - I just could not allow my myself to abandon my site or my project of creating a 6 figure passive income; that was always, and still remains, my goal. So I set about rethinking my site, my methods and my offerings and here I am 8 years later, still hopeful.

Just recently, I returned to the Warriorforum to see what everyone was talking about and I notice a lot of change here. There does not seem to be the same number of posts or visitors that there used to be. Perhaps the forum has been through its own set of difficulties, of which I am unaware. But anyway, currently I am back in the internet marketing space - where I was 8 years ago.

Now, 16 years in the saddle (a little bum-sore from all that riding) and looking forward to recreating the success, I just wanted to say a fond 'howdy' to all my fellow travellers. With the year 2020 now in our sights, let's make next year one to remember.
