Just realized it's Fat Tuesday in the deep south - remembering the parades and the music - the happy people and the early spring. This is one of few times of the year I miss the MS and LA coasts - rest of the time it's too hot. Happy Mardi Gras to any WF members in cajun country. I need some zydeco...

    Fat Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday. It is also known as Mardi Gras Day or Shrove Day. ... So, Fat Tuesday is a celebration and the opportunity to enjoy that favorite food or snack that you give up for the long Lenten season.
