This little beagle mix will be joining our family this saturday. She's young and has had a hard life til her rescue 3 months ago. She's not the prettiest dog I've ever had - but her personality is one of the sweetest I've seen anywhere.
When rescued she was covered in cuts and sores, her fur almost gone and she had a fish hook embedded in a front paw. She's come a long way.
So often a dog treated badly is so grateful for kindness they end up being best dogs ever... I think little Virginia (she'll be 'ginny' here) will be my new 'velcro' dog.
