This Would Either Prove Ghosts Or Another Phenomenon

You see it on tv or you have heard about it from people who do it. That is, armed with an array of electronic devices, people go ghost hunting. Often, the places they go to not have any electricity and derelict.

Now, lets discount all electronic devices aside from the traditional ones that would come to mind. That is Digital Camcorders or Camera's. All powered by lithium Iron batteries.

The most common thing reported in these places is that the fully charged devices are often instantly drained of power. Some say that ghosts need electromagnetic energy of some sort to interact and it also an event is noticed when this drain of power happens.

But, I'm not really going to hark on about the possibility of ghosts here at all. Merely concentrate on this drain of power. Having done a little digging online, it appears that these batteries do not instantly get drained though various factors can increase their drain. It is never instant.

So, if a team of say university trained observers, carefully vetted, in what clothing they are wearing etc and the equipment fully charged and vetted beforehand, be sent to one of these locations. A backup observer for each would be solely there to police and keep a firm eye on the camcorder or camera status. As scientifically controlled and restrictive as possible, and repeatable by others.

If an instant battery drain is recorded in a delict, non electrically provided location that has been reported happening prior on numerous occasions then ok, you don't have to conclude that a place is haunted and that Ghosts are doing it, but you do have a mystery on your hands as to why it is repeatedly happening in these locations and to find out why?

That would be interesting in itself.
