We will go to the Magic Kingdom one day and Universal another day. As well as the Sea World Water Park which we have season passes for. The other 5 days will spent on a condo right on the beach ( New Smyrna) for 5 nights.

Really excited. We will stay at my Brother's house the nights we are not on the condo in Orlando.

Then after 10 days there we will fly to Knoxville, TN. to stay with my Mom for 11 days and go to Dollywood as well as other activities.

Following Dan's footsteps I guess

Ha! Might be the other way around. We'll be at Dollywood sometime during the 3rd week of June during a week in Gatlinburg.

We'll be back in Orlando for Thanksgiving. I'm a masochist, I guess.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

Cool Dan. We plan to just go to Dollywood Splash Country around the second week in June. But Dollywood Amusement park is great. Have you ever been there and Gatlinburg before ??

If not it is a little touristry but if you take it in for what it is you will have a complete blast. Particularly your son. Safe travels

P.S. are you going to let Claude out of his cage on the trip down or is he tame enough to ride unabated with the fam ??

I've never been to Dollywood and haven't been to Gatlinburg since I was 7.

We have a large group of friends and their kids going with us. We have a cabin that sleeps 35. Should be pretty interesting.

Safe travels to you, as well.

P.S. The gimp stays home in the cellar. I've rigged a contraption that randomly launches hot dogs across the room. It's good exercise for him.

Dan's going to Lilliput World, home of the little people. The only annoyance he has is that so many people ask him for info or directions or info thinking he's an employee.

It's the price you pay if you want to meet up with relatives.

We leave Friday. We're stopping in Louisville to take the boy to the Louisville Slugger Museum then we'll head in to Gatlinburg Saturday morning/mid-dayish. We'll do a little shopping and site-seeing, and then meet our travelling friends at our cabin late afternoon.

After your last post, I've packed extra sunscreen.

Hey Dan, how was your vacation to Tennessee ??

We had a great vacay although my wife did have Covid for a few days at the beach ( New Smyrna Beach right near Daytona).

We stayed at Margaretville resort in Gatlinburg and it was a fantastic time. Ate at Blake Shelton's "Ole Red" and is was very good with excellent live music.

Our week in our cabin was a little lackluster due to the heat and a few other factors.

We had lunch at Ole Red and had some of the best catfish we've ever had.

Decided to stay through the long Juneteenth weekend and had a much better time. I actually initially reserved a room at the the Margaritaville but switched to the Music Road Inn due to it having a better water park area for the boy.

We saw the Pirate Voyage show, which we really liked. Hatfield and McCoys was okay. The Lumberjack Fued was pretty good.

We didn't get to spend any time hiking because it was just too damn hot.

            We'll go back.

Dollywood, don't tell me l don't want to know.

We have Wet and Wild, Sea World, Dreamworld, and Movieworld in Queensland which l would love to go back to, but not if l have to become a science experiment.

And apparently some new, Outback theme park, not sure if l want to go to that one, (probably use it as a pissweak narrative for a roolacoaster wide).

I believe that Clauddetteworld is opening soon, with such attractions as the Wooster Ride, Dunkin Donut Daredevil ride, and a leather bondage store.

Not sure if l would enter the Beefed up, and No Where to Go, restaurant, since too many where taken to hospital trying to eat a Claudette Beef Special, in under 10 minutes to get a free dust bag.

    I,ll stop now.

As I undahstand it, they got a whole noo area planned for Summer 2022.

"In the Bellows Assembly Garden, suction enthusiasts can gather to wiggle their fingers in a selection of classic accessories from down the ages -- all mounted on stout poles poking from the floral array.

True, l went there and was greeted by a smiling, overweight, middle aged lady wearing a vacuum cleaning endowed dress, with a smoke hanging out of her mouth, and politely saying, "Tickets Pet".

I skipped the live show, (so l could keep my appetite, besides l have seen the dancing attachments before, and have the therapy sessions to prove it).

Didn't go to the BAG, (yea, just got that gag, clever) area, but l did go to the History of the Attachments one.

And saw the Roman one with hamster wheel, and the steam powered one, with built in shovel.

They also had a live show through the main street, consisting of old, bald ladys that needed a shave, carrying a mini vac, and grumpy old guys with bottles of rum, muttering to themselves.

That is a day l will never forget!

Claude, Dan and Discrat went out for a drive.

Unfortunately they got into a huge car crash and were all killed. Surprisingly, they all went to heaven

At the pearly gates, The Administrator said you can do all you want here to your hearts desire except you must not step on a duck, for if you do, you will be chained to the ugliest woman we can find for three months.

How hard could that be to avoid they thought!

Unfortunately, when they got in, they found thousands of ducks wandering around.

Discrat was the first to fall foul, despite being a huge Donald Duck fan he quickly stepped on a duck and had himself chained up.

Dan thought, due to his diminutive size, it would be difficult for him to step on one but even he eventually succumbed, stepping on a duckling

Claude trod very carefully for a long time but eventually he saw a spread of KFC and made a beeline for it and stepped on a duck.

Claude found himself chained to a beautiful blond woman? "What did I do to deserve you" he said to her, she replied "I don't know, but I stepped on a duck!"

Nice agenda. Hope your trip will be good, or, maybe is already good (I don't know where you are right now).
Such trips always help people to distract from stupid, boring daily routine, which is super nauseous to me.
    Have fun and be careful.
