I had it laying around and debating whether to pick it up and read it and wanted to see if anyone here had read it. And what their opinion was ??

I haven't read that one, but I have read a stack of his other books and still have more to go. He is my favourite fiction author and I also like the way he has a co-author for his books. He's a well-oiled machine, churning out a few books a year and I have never read a bad book of his. Hopefully this helps you decide.

If I had found it laying around on the 28th - I'd have finished reading it by the 29th. I'm really bad that way.

I'm not much of a novel fan, but I can usually tell after a few pages in whether a book is worth continuing with.

It depends on how many coloring pictures you find.

Any chance you have a Kindle Reade? take a look at the free preview to see if you want to continue before reading your actual copy.

  • Gotta tellya, if'n James Patterson stoppin' by between blockbustahs to seek weirdest evah smoochie with hot guys with beards, zen suction aficionados, or anywan else shows in ahf tahpic in a describably fragrant capacity, likely he gonna wondah why nowan round here ain't readin' his books.

"J.K. Rowling got popularity kudos," muttahs Patterson, "and King possesses the authority to slay you dead or alive, so even if you've never heard of the guy, he has ultimate power over your dominion in ways you can't comprehend."

Patterson sighs as he scans WF Ahfzo once again for proof of his impassioned literary soul. "Perhaps I would be less irrelevant on like Mumsnet."

In the weeks that followed, Dan Riffle felt a presence simultaneously behind him, in front of him, to either side, below, within -- an' also beyond all boundaries he evah knew.

Claude pointed his fount of all knowledge in the direction of Patterson -- an' received naht a single squirt back.

It was as if Patterson's fictional fancies an' the grit growin' outta WF Ahzo's undahbelly waws seemingly incompatibyool.

But ain't it great how so cool stories are?

We are forevah beguiled by Marvel types savin' Caahsmoseuse an' zappin' one anothah with fuschia-tinted helioptrope CGI rays, we forget the summonable wondah mere lines of words may prompt us to witness.

It is bcs this plain an' simple media we exchanged so much hooman valyoo.

An' I say this historically steada merely sensationally.

    No pickchahs.

    No links.

    No sell.

    No distraction nor'n diversion.

Jus' one buncha words slipstreamin' easy outta the stuff came before.

Why penetrate this obfuscatory sigilscape less'n you wanna be free?

Patterson sighs again. Then calls King. "Something big is happening, Stephen. And it's more your territory than mine. You've simply got to see this crazy marketing forum! In particular, Wahft Flahpic. You could make a killing here -- even if everyone already knows the ending! And especially if there isn't one!"

Ok - Started the book late last night - it's not typical Patterson - but I'm liking it.

It's one of those books that 'picks up steam' as you go along...

It really does. Just finished it here while watching the waves of the Atlantic come crashing down from our condo (middle of a mild storm)

I give it a solid 8.5 out of 10. Not Patterson's best but still pretty damn good!

Where I lived on the coast there were barrier islands so we didn't get the lovely crashing waves.

What i really miss are the birds - the huge blue herons and white herons, the brown pelicans and all the seagulls. One of my favorite 'sayings' tshirts is "happy as a seagull with a french fry"

I'm still planning on reading the book but haven't got the time yet for it. Two of Patterson's book that I recently read was "The Lake House and Honeymoon".

If I have my way with work and other schedules, I might be reading "The Inn'' before the new month runs out.
