Another announcement (actually 3 emails in less than 24 hrs) from another 'gotowebinar. com' user.....

I've tried opting out of ALL gotowebinar emails - doesn't work....have tried opting out of the individual 'offers' claiming I've 'signed up' and telling me how to access 'what you requested'....doesn't work.

Anyone found a way to stop these emails? Before you ask - I NEVER sign up to seminars or webinars so - definitely spam.

Curious how this works - do people pay to use the software AND an

email list provided? These are not programs I've ever indicated an interest in. Has anyone here used 'gotowebinar' who might explain how it works?

I get them, too, and have tried to unsubscribe. I have a filter set up sending them straight to trash.

Several years ago I downloaded the GoToWebinar software in order to watch a webinar and was plagued by subsequent emails. I removed all the GoToWebinar junk from my hard drive - as I recall, it took more than one pass with a clean-up tool - and the emails stopped.

I'm not claiming any cause and effect - maybe they just got fed up sending me stuff. But in any event, it's probably worth checking to see if there's any GoToWebinar remnants hiding deep in your drive.

I don't find it in my hard drive - so just put a block on the email address. Tx
