It has seem to been a big boom in the past three or four years on the Internet. Was wondering if anybody else is doing this with houses or property?

A wholesaler finds a property selling way undervalue and puts it under contract. Then find an investor that usually wants to flip the house or renovate the property to turn it into a rental. At that point the wholesaler sells the contract to that investor, making a nice profit.

I can get into more specifics if you want to know. Late-night TV info commercials usually have guys touting this method. Make 20,30, 40... grand without actually owning a property.

      "KEY TAKEAWAYS
In real estate wholesaling, a wholesaler contracts a home with a seller, then finds an interested party to buy it.

The wholesaler contracts the home with a buyer at a higher price than with the seller, and keeps the difference as profit.

Real estate wholesalers generally find and contract distressed properties.

Unlike flipping, a real estate wholesaler doesn't do any renovations or additions, and carry no costs. "

I think what's happening 'on the internet' with real estate lags behind real life just as it seems to do on TV.

Don't know what you consider 'wholesale' but the past couple years of rapidly rising property values have not been conducive to buying cheap property to turn or flip.

Personally no, but as someone who buys and holds rental properties, I know a great one in my main market.

If not real estate, we often talk about marketing strategies. I have not seen someone from that space make the jump to a full-on internet marketer, but I am hoping my buddy does it. I think he'd crush it.
