a Disney cruise that is.In October of this year. It will be 7 days instead of the 4 we had last month on Disney cruise.

The only thing is it boards in Cape Caneveral in Florida. About 17 hour drive from where we live in San Antonio.

We had a blast last month so this one in October may become a reality

He would only correct you by saying their were only 7.

Another cruise without a casino, what are you thinking Robert? I suppose this time you will be taking the kids as well. Rack up some overtime at HEB and fly there. Who wants a 17 hour drive.

No need to do that , Mark. We've become pretty chummy here in the OT the last few years. ( I've almost reached Claude status minus the "behind" shenanigans)
So just as easy to pull some money out of that Trust Fund/Inheritance of yours and just wire it directly to my Bank of America account....yeah that will do the trick

Well, that would be easy. I already have your bank account number and login details and have been syphoning off small amounts for a few years now.

PS. What's this regular payment to Raquel's Escort Services I keep seeing?

My son and d-in-law are due home in a few days from a 10 dayCaribbean cruise....Norwegian, I think. They left from San Juan so....no driving.

I've had several friends go on Disney cruises and every one of them had a blast.
Not sure how many kids you have - so flights might be too much but 17 hrs in a car...with kids....? Ewwwww

Traveling with kids these days is pretty easy. Give 'em a tablet and headphones and it's like they're not even there.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

And....the family is still not back. They were due in late last night and flight from San Juan was fine - but so far one delay leading to a missed connection in New Jersey....and they are still trying to get back to Ohio.

Hopefully will be here by midday. I think I will enjoy traveling when our AI buddies come up with a ray to transport me to and from vacation without the 'travel' stuff.

Kay, curious if your son and daughter in law like the casinos there ??
Whether the casinos "make" the Cruise? Or better without them ??

They don't pay much attention to the casinos - they may play once for a couple hours. They lived - as I did - on MS coast with loads of casinos...it's old stuff for them. We aren't big gamblers. They had a balcony for the first time on this cruis and loved it!

By the way, they did not arrive home till 1 pm today. Missing one flight connection cost them 10 extra hrs of travel time.

Wow, they should get flying vouchers for that

They missed a connection that my son had told Norwegian was 'too tight'...oh well, they had a great time anyway.

I asked about the ship's casino - they did go in it - son bought into a blackjack tournament and my d-in-law did a slot tournament....both lost but only $35 buyins. Other than that they didn't 'do' the casino.
