That is, Australian comedian: Barry Humphries. I always liked his characterizations, especially of Dame Edna. Worked all the way up to his death. Always funny and often outrageous. He got a lot of his shows working in the UK but became known in the US.

RIP Housewife and Superstar.

    It's always sad to hear of the passing of someone who brought joy and laughter to so many. Barry Humphries was a talented comedian who created some unforgettable characters, and Dame Edna was definitely one of them. It's amazing that he continued to work and make people laugh all the way up until his death. His impact was felt not just in his home country of Australia, but also in the UK and US. Rest in peace, Dame Edna and Barry Humphries.

      Great soundtrack which l have posted elsewhere since that really offend,...never mind.

      This is when Dame Edna made her debut on the world stage if l am not mistaken in 1972 and Barry Humphreys plays three different characters.
