We're bypassing Florida this year and are leaving for a 10 day stay in Myrtle Beach next Friday. A family friend lives there and her daughter's graduation party is next weekend. We figured we'd just make a vacation out of it.

Might head back to Florida for Thanksgiving.

They would not let you in Disney Florida anyway as the Snow White exhibit already has a full compliment.

Dan, with your son being the age he is ... well needless to say you will have a blast in myrtle beach. You get the best of both worlds with amusement park type entertainment and beach fun right at your finger tips !!

We're heading out first thing tomorrow morning. We'll stop in North Carolina tomorrow and roll into Myrtle Beach around noon on Saturday.

I would love to be a fly on the wall and witness this. Poor Kay King gets flustered

No but seriously I hear you Kay. People visiting our household get under my skin as well after about a day or so. I think I just get put out with the
" interruption"
of my life. I have a set process on how I operate each day and I hate when it gets complicated

You get it. Not really flustered but I do bore rather easily (not a good trait).

I'm in the habit of taking my Kindle and going off to read for an hour or two...and for some reason that is considered 'rude' (who knew?) so I have to stay and make conversation.

I like people...in small doses....well spaced.

I figured dowin' the Inca Trail atop a camel, but they don't gaht too many camels in Peru.

Plus also, naht too many mules equipped for the ride.

It is like a utilitarian quadruped free zone.

So I tryin' to source eithah condors, anacondahs or jeeps -- but it ain't easy.

Tellya, the Inca Trail been around for centuries, an' you'd wanna figure they gaht alla this sorted.

Delivaperu kinda thing.

Hey, but so many ancient culchahs ain't what they were -- or even what they weren't.

My view?

It is ultimately hoomanity's loss.

Alternative scenario is a Caribbean crooze feacherin' a murder mystery entitled Who Bit The Captain's Head Clean Off?

Or mebbe tryin' to get thrown outta France for bein' too bohemian.

Just rode Guardians of the Galaxy ride last night. It was an incredible roller coaster. It's one reason why I watched GOTG the movie the other night as to prepare me for this ride at Epcot. We had to go thru virtual seating to secure our ride.

It was absolutely insane. Dan, if you go to Disney world this Fall make sure you include GOTG ride in your itenary. You won't be sorry !!

Never thought I would say this - but I saw the trailer for the Barbie movie tonight - and it looks really funny.

This is coming from one of the perhaps 10 women who grew up in the USA and NEVER wanted nor owned a Barbie doll.....

I watched this trailer and will not stop until I can obtain this movie and place it in my possession. Lol

I thought the actors for Barbie & Ken were just a tad too old. My sister had a Sindy doll, similar thing, but perhaps exclusive to the UK?
