Has Intuition Ever Saved You From Anything?

Did you ever choose not to take that car journey with friends, later to find that the car crashed? Did you have a bad gut feeling about a business deal and backed out because of it, only to find it was not lucrative or a scam.

Many, many people have reported this.

Being a woman and also an empath, I believe that
my intuition has saved me from harm on countless
occasions. My intuition has also brought numerous
    beneficial results.

But you can never really be certain if you had not
gone somewhere in a boat, car or plane, done this
instead of that, whether something adverse or
positive would have happened or not.

There is no way to prove any of it, you just know.

It's less about proving any of it to anyone else and more when you have had enough miserable things happen when ignoring intuitive based red flags. While when being cautious based on intuition ends up at worst creating minor inconveniences for yourself.

The brain uses up large amounts of energy. So intuitive pulses are a great way to get many choices made without someone having to consciously crunch data or way all the available data.

Agreed we can bring up mass disasters and how many stayed away, but that isn't definitive, applying it to random events over time and cataloging it to show it isn't a fluke is more so.

But anyone who does that successfully isn't going to tell the world.

You want intuition to be definitive...right.

I'm thinking the forum equivalent of 'that's why we can't have nice things'

It's far more mundane much of the time.if you listen to the small bits of intuition. So far it's been more ufo to walk across a cross walk that I have the walk signal. And stop wondering why I'm stopped. Then have a car whip around the corner and avoid getting hit.

Or I see clouds in the distance and my instincts are to walk where I need to get out of potential rain. Then get there just as the clouds open up.

There use to be the intuition to stop right then as I am passing a grocery store and when I went in the thing I was going to buy was mislabeled 99 cents a pound instead of 4.99 a pound. Or it was a last minute must go discount.

I tend to be in dangerous environments quite often anyway so my instincts intuition about the people and events going on around me so I tend to get away or move somewhere else when I get the intuition.

Gotta figure feminine intooition prolly saved me from plenty dorks along the way.

Like in the store when I shoppin' for zucchinis to throw at my Madame Gastro cookbook an' expect miracles.

An' sum guy sidles up an' says, "great price for those ... but they ain't exactly KING SIZE, uh huh, uh huh," an' thenya look down from his manic gaze to see the worst combination of rent asundah denim an' protuberent flesh!

No way I datin' that guy, for sures.

Plus also there is my natchrl Sagittarian *beaconsense* which turns most evry available horizon into a possible opportoonity, if'n only you darin' enough to sieze the moment.

So I grab the guy's balls.

"Whomsoevah screams loudest in the next 10 seconds wins braggin' rights on this entire sordid encountah!"

Hey, plus also there is that basic SPIDEY kinda intooition.

Yanno, where you wake at deada night an' you gaht a SPIDAH crawlin' onya face.

Only it ain't no spidah actshwlly, it is a subtle shift in the air as Gahdzilla approaches from like 10 miles away.

In that moment, you alert while the hapless slumbah on for 53 more killah seconds.

You gaht bargain zucchinis to hurl as missiles, you gaht serious odds in your favah, tellya.

    I'm half joking

My intuition is so good at preventing me from in nasty car crash and stuff like that. Is saves not just me but prevents that entire crash and every person who would have been involved.

    Interesting question lanfear63. : )

I'm sure there's more than one example ... However I remember one time in a pub I heard a voice saying to go outside ... Approx. a minute later there was a massive fight/brawl and the police were called.

    P.S.
I'm not sure that's "Intuition" necessarily, although I think it's similar.

Yep saved me from the obvious.

Now l know how Red in The Shawshank Redemption felt when he got knocked back from the Parole board or having a second chance at being reinstated. And after enough time had passed he didn't give a shit anymore!
