    Won't you leave me alone?
Please leave me alone (leave me alone)
    Now leave me alone
Oh, leave me alone (leave me alone)
    Please leave me alone
    Yes, leave me (leave me)
    in that order.

Go look up the world's worst singer in the Guinness World Records Book. That's my record and competition is tough. ;>)

Not that I can sing, but I have a scapegoat performer that I can do a pretty good impression of.

Who, you say, none other than Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits.

He was quite the songwriter in his day as well a great guitarist. But his rough singing voice was never more than functional. And I can do it pretty much to a tee.

So the artiste would be Mark Knopfler and the song: "Money For Nothing"

Any guns and roses song, axle can't even sing them anymore. Sweet child of mine the guitar track is the star of that song anyway.

Now the question is are you being forced to sing because party is over and you need to encourage people to leave like now.

Not long ago I was in Nashville.

Some friends wanted us to go out to a bar. It was a huge bar. So big it had more than 1 floor.

There was a famous country music band playing. I'm not a huge country music fan but it was still fun.

Later in the evening you could pay $100 and go on stage and sing with the band. You could pick the song and the band would play the background music. I guess it was to allow someone to show off their talents and brag they had such and such big name band play backup for them.

So, the place was packed and people were paying to nominate an unsuspecting friend to go up and sing.

Some of it was comical since by that time of the night most people were pretty well lit.

When the person was up singing people would throw money on the stage to tip the person singing.

I thought it was a pretty neat idea actually.

Myself, I can't carry a tune even though I like to sing.

      .
Was there last July visiting. Lived there from 1992- 2007. And I can say it has changed dramatically. But I love this new version of Nashville. The tourists, new big bars etc..etc.. it's really exciting. I want to move back there for retirement

I can understand why you like it.

Our friends have lived there for quite a while and love it.

There's definitely a lot to do there.

I am currently watching Golf from Nashville Tennessee, and l keep thinking how the hell do the golf players concentrate with the wrap crap blaring out on the 18 hole and other holes.

And then the crowd start clapping just to make it even harder, for the poor professional players to chip it in.

In Australia it is dead quiet and we even have people hold up signs saying "Quiet Please" sure we get some loudmouths occasionally and even a group who sing songs with their own lyrics which are pretty funny but at least we know that wrap or modern day music breaks concentration, (makes me want to throw up and time travel back to 1985 and stay there).

I have watched Golf in other parts of the US and this seems to be a recurring nightmare.

If I were a golfer I would be pretty Teed off to hear rap music when trying to make a shot. Do they play a lot of Putt Daddy?. It takes four shots to get the ball in the hole when they play the "Eagles" But, playing the "Birdie" song has been found to be good for golfers. Also, playing "Swing" music is well liked. Golfers hate world war two military music as they always end up in the bunker.

Ignoring the gags, l am hearing some modern day band in the background or monotonous lyrics dysfunctional melody and disjointed composition as well as not being able to hold a note without it fluctuating, (to prove how clever fhey are) or in other words garbage.

Explains why the guy with the beard, who has missed a few is saying, "f...ing ball and f this and f that, (the mike is live).

Least afterwards he has a chauffeur driven Driver to take him home.

I will probably sing something original because I don't like the idea of signing other people's songs .

Either "Big Balls" by AC/DC or the Gwen Stefani classic "Hollaback Girl."

Unless I'm in Michigan. Then I'll spam "Hang On Sloopy" as many times as they'll let me.

I have my earbuds in every morning when I run and I always start off with the same song to get me going.

When I get tired of that song I'll pick another one to be the first song.

Right now it's 'Sign of the Times' by Harry Styles...

so that's probably what I'd sing. Although I know it wouldn't sound anywhere as good...and probably be way off-key
