Got my annual physical on Tuesday. Received the blood work stats back today. My wife is a RN and she looked it over and said they were great.

A1c was 5.6, sugar and glucose were really low and cholesterol was great. Blood pressure is 120 over 80.
Liver enzymes she said was in the normal range.

i attribute it to exercising 5 days a week and eating a stable diet of nut, almonds, blueberries, blackberries as well as 3 to 4 servings per week of organic raw broccoli and cauliflower.

Anyway, i hope i don't come off as a braggart. Iam just excited and if anything want to set the example if i can do it anyone can ! For sure !!!

Glad to hear it, Robert, but I wouldn't want to sit too close to you with you eating all that broccoli and cauliflower...

NOTE: After careful consideration , i have decided to exercise going from 5 days a week to just 4 days a week. i will do the stationary bike Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and weights on thursdays. iam cutting out one day of weights. The fact is I have all the muscle mass i need so iam not lifting to put on bulk. Just lifting to keep muscles firm and tone and i can do that with just once a week of weights.

Anyway, I just need a 3 day break which will allow me to recover!!

    Hi,

Great stuff and good news, but like Dan said above - how do you eat those two veggies RAW and not have problems with backfiring?

I had a spell where I tried some raw veg in my post-workout smoothies including some raw beetroot and it played havoc with my guts.

That's awesome news -- those numbers look really solid.
Sounds like all the consistency with diet and exercise is paying off.
Definitely motivating to read, so thanks for sharing!
