i have to give credit where credit is due and i have to admit Dan really inspired me to watch these Olympics seeing his enthusiasm and passion.

i have been watching intently and my favorite thing has so far been speed skating and Jordan Stolz .

How about you guys who are watching , what's been your favorite??

I'm watching as I type this.

I can't get enough curling, hockey, and skiing. Unfortunately, the US figure skating team seems to be overbilled.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

iam not a hockey man but really found myself enjoying the US vs Sweden game today. What's really exciting is the OT and 3 on 3 hockey. That's fast paced and exciting right there

              Yep !!
it's actually a good sport if i just give it a chance. Particularly the OTs

P.S. and the way they tied it with just over 2 minutes left!! Spectacular

Btw, Ilia Malinin is probably the most iconic and skillful ice skater EVER.

But the truly greatest champions are the ones like MJ, Tiger, Brady , Hamilton etc.. who simply thrive under pressure. They live for it

Malinin just could not and this pressure separates the greats from the very , very good

Wow, 46 years ago!! Iam just thinking off all the things that have happened in my life during that time. What a whirlwind

I was around but I barely remember the actual game, but my dad talked about it on the regular. To put it lightly, he was not a fan of "those commie pinko bast*rds."

Just a great, great day. The look on the Canadian players' faces as they received their silver medals was priceless. I'll savor it for years.

it was a really great day. This win made the whole olympics, imo!!! Literally, brought tears to my eyes when we scored that final goal in OT. I couldn't believe it.

Those Canadians were really shocked lol
And they were probably in all honesty better than us. But we had the Heart and Grit that they didn't. And it was glorious

There's a big difference between the 1980's team and the current one. Back in 1980, the US team was made up with amatures playing the game. Now the players come from the NHL. It's great that they honored Johnny Gaudreau after Team USA won, letting his kids come out on the ice for the team pictures.

I quite like watching the ice hockey. If I watch it too much, they make it look so easy that I can do it

I turned on the Television this morning. CNBC was broadcasting Wheelchair Curling from the Paralympics this morning. Is anyone following any of the events? Other events include Para Ice Hockey, Para Downhill Skiing, and other events. The games started on the 6th and continue to March 10th.

I've watched a little of the downhill skiing. The problem I've always had with the Paralympics is that I've just gorged myself on two weeks of Olympics and I'm burned out by the time the Paras roll around a week or so later.
