In 2017, I made the largest purchase of my life when we bought our house.

Flash forward to today, and I'm standing on the precipice of the second biggest financial decision I've ever made. This is where you come in.

I need advice.

I've spent the last several days deep in research mode. I've analyzed the data. I've studied the trends. I've consulted the experts. I've lost sleep. My family is worried about me. But this decision is simply too large, too consequential, and too important to rush.

So I'm turning to my most trusted resource -- you people.

Where would you guys go to buy a full tank of gas?

      My Sam's station is always slammed; easy 15-20 minute wait. I end up at Costco or BJ's.

    Honestly, Cosco is the cheapest in my area. It's currently $4.20 a gallon. Someone posted elsewhere that Autozone sent a notification to all stores. Stating that Motor Oil shortages are expected mid-summer. If they do not have 5-20W, give the person 10-40W or 20-50W if there's an emergency. Farmers are in trouble because of fertilizer shortages. Also, aluminum is going to be impacted.

    Get an electric vehicle as I have...

    You won't need to find cheap gas.

    Plus, I went yesterday to Columbus, about a 3-hour trip, and only touched the steering wheel a couple of times.

    It's 2026, haha. Who cares about gas prices?
