thought i would have a little fun and form a thread about things in yesteryear.

i'll go first : I remember clear as day when we first got cable tv back in 81'. It had one of those boxes where you literally had to get up and push the button on the box on top of the tv every time you wanted to change a channel . Oh wow could imagine our kids doing that these days lol

Let's here some of your memories ?

I remember when we first got internet; I waited exactly 20 days, and then internet was finally installed in our home. Those were such wonderful days. I still remember the excitement of those days.

I remember seeing the first TV show in color. It was Bonanza, followed by the Disney show. I was maybe 8 or 10.

I also remember the TV show The Avengers. I thought it was going to feature the Marvel characters....but no, it was a British adventure show.

And...the anticipation of seeing my first Batman show in 1966. And the crushing realization that it was ridiculous camp.
