Will YOU be working over christmas?

I have family coming in from December 20th to Jan 3rd. So I am going to hang out with all of them. We just finished building a new house so this is our first Christmas where the whole family can come over and fit in our new home without having someone eating in the kitchen on a card table, so cool.

I will probably peek in from time to time, I have the advantage of being a full time marketer and work from my home as well.

I have a 2 day a week part-time offline job that gets busier around holidays so I'll be working that some extra hours through Christmas and New Years.

But also working IM and writing and....when you office is in the room down the hall, it's hard to stay out of it!

No rest for this weary dude. I'll probably take Christmas Day off, but I bet not. I'll sneak in something productive. My family are all about 1000 miles away from where I live now, and I couldn't work out travel plans this year, so yeah, it's gonna be a working holiday. No biggy. I'll get a jump on 2010.

It's just another day - if I feel like doing some work I will.

I'll be having the big Xmas dinner with relatives etc, but may do something when I get home.

Some days I do nothing, so I gotta do work some time when I actually feel like it

I'll be working a lot except for Christmas day. I'm taking a week off in January to relax in California. Even then, I'll still be checking in while I'm gone just to make sure all is well. There is always something to do.

I wont be working over christmas ... and I have only been in IM for 8 months ... I am still working to even make a good months pay ... so I am working very hard every day ... but you gotta have some time off

A little bit. My wife works at a school so I generally try and take the same time off that she has. That being said, I need to get my new wine website up and running with the shopping cart so things could get quite hectic in the next day or two.

I will probably be working. Still have a lot of university stuff to do so it's not really a period of holidays.

Might take a couple of days off, even though it's difficult to not do IM related stuff if you're near a computer.

Yea, I'll be around. I don't do it so it's just another couple of days for me. If it happened to be Saturday and Sunday then no I wouldn't cause it would be the weekend anyway. I'll also be around New Year.

I'll be spending time with the family over the holidays, but will be working as well. I couldn't bail altogether as we'll running a sale on the entire Incansoft catalog starting on Christmas eve; not that I could stay away from work that long anyway.

According to my wife and other family members I'm addicted to working on my computer. I swear I'm not. I'm going to show them and not work during the Christmas season. Well I'll only work until sevenish, nineish or until I fall asleep on Christmas Eve.

Since I'm getting a wireless keyboard and mouse on Christmas evening (shh it's a surprise) I will have to train my wrist and fingers all over again to fit the new keyboards and mouse on Christmas morning.

As you know this is a delicate period of time in breaking in a new keyboard and mouse and must be done with a good deal of fortitude and perseverance (about 16 hours a day). I'm thinking right on up through Dec 31 2011, should get it broken in and then it will be time to get another new one.

So as I said there will be no working for me.

Hello:

Since I work from home as a writer and Internet Marketer, I thoroughly enjoy what I do, so I don't take breaks and holidays like other people do.

My spouse has almost two weeks off from her day job, so since she will be around, I don't expect to be "working" as much as I usually do, but I will definitely be doing something to advance my business interests most days.

Wow. I can't believe the amount of people actually working on Christmas day. That is one day of the year I could not work. Maybe I'm just a big kid at heart and love the 'magic' of it.

I think 2010 will be a busy year for me so I'm deifinately going to be taking a two week break and then coming back in the new year with a bang... and a clear focus on what needs doing.

As mentioned, I will probs check my emails when I can but 99% of what I do will resume after the holidays.

Heres to a successful 2010 for all of us marketers!!
