It does look like things are going to start hoppin' in 2010.

The Cool Ghoul is being featured in HorrorHound magazine.
And, we're going to be doing a couple of conventions early in the year.
Indy in March and Pa. in February.

I remember back in the day *early/mid 70's or so) in Ohio there used to be a tv station (still there i think) called WXIX-19. They had The Cool Ghoul tv show. It was more or less like the show you see now on called Movie and a Show. THere was a guy in 'ghoulish' makeup (white and black..looked like he was from a metal band) that had sort of a comedic commentary and showed old scary movies. Lots of Vincent Price stuff. Usually came on late Friday and Saturday nights. He would tell really bad jokes about the movie and speak in a very dramatic 'scary' voice. It was really very entertaining.

The Cool Ghoul was a major favorite of me and my dad/grandpa back in the day. We use to watch it religiously. Nothin better than a dark night of pizza and diet pepsi (gramps was diabetic) and the CG show.

Sounds familiar.

George and I would fix a Chef Boy A'rdee pizza, turn out the lights and watch the show.

George has taken the character the and evolved it over the years. But, the concept is the same.

You may also remember Bob Shreve's all night movies. We have incorporated a lot of what he did. Like "Chickie".

We're working on getting better movies. But, Universal doesn't license for the internet. (Their loss).
And IMD, which offers recent release movies charges $15,000 P/Y. So, we're going to have sell a LOT of merch. and/or get a LOT of donations to afford it.

Anyway, for now, just enjoy the show.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

I just saw on facebook that Shock Theater has a fb page. Thats what the cool Ghoul show in cincy started out as i believe.

Ok...

This time it's official.
Due to the record breaking snowfall in February and "mitigating circumstances" in March
We were unable to do a new a new show.

But, next Saturday, 4/11/10 we are going to tape a new show.
The movie will be "Horror Hotel" with Christopher Lee. Actually a very good horror flick.
Well worth watching.

We're going to do a 3 part spoof on the new Star Trek movie.
(I'll be playing the part of Dr. McCoy)

On a "serious" note...

The Cool Ghoul was a very popular TV show in the Cleveland area.
He had about 80,000 viewers a week.

This is the same show only on the 'net.
