If any of you noticed the link in Allen's signature it is

http://www.kiva.org

Its a site that lets you lend money to overseas micro businesses to let them get their business going. You make micro loans. Someone might request $500 and 20 people will loan $25 toward that one.

I signed up and loaned a woman in Vietnam part of her needs for her business. Bless her heart she is paying it back slowly. It brings tears to my eyes.

It's one of my favorite websites Scott.

The stories there are so inspirational. Of course a lot of people here in the west are struggling to make ends meet in this recession but compared to many around the world, we've got easy here in the west by comparison.

Unfortunately, I've noticed that almost anything with a charity bent on this forum tends to get sidelined or ignored.

I hope this comment and subsequent bump to the top of the forum will get more Warriors clicking on the link and perhaps helping someone else much worse off than themselves.

      Thanks for posting this up.

      Kindest regards,

      Mark Andrews...
