Posting A YouTube Video On Here

Does anyone know why I can sometimes post a video on here and other times it just shows up as a link??


I can't seem to figure it out. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. :confused:

In case you are wondering, I am writing text, highlighting it, then linking it to the YouTube URL. But again, sometimes it shows as an actual video in the thread and others times it's just a link.

    Just copy the text url from YT and past it here.

    Not the Embed link just the video URL link that is provided by YouTube.

    Hey Michael,

    Yeah, that's what I do. But like I said, it doesn't work sometimes. Weird.

    That is weird. Michael just posted a video and it worked, did you try contacting the admin about it.

    Sorry DV8,
    Didn't mean to leave you hanging.

    When your adding a video link you need to make sure that the option to "Automatically
    embed media" setting is turned on.

    To do so when making a post you need to click on "Go Advanced" and then
    look at the Additional Options below post box. See the attachment below.
