I am confused. Is an HD ready TV able to be displayed in full HD? Like can i plug my PS3 in it? Or is it different?

HD ready means that the tv can show HD footage however at will not be shown at its true resolution, so yes you can plug your ps3 in, you just wont see the picture in TRUE HD resolution.

Actually 'HD Ready' means that it will accept and display HD signals from HD sources in their native resolutions..such as a cable box or your ps3, but it doesnt have an HD tuner so things if you have non had equipment providing signal, you wont get it in native hd resolution.

Your ability to plug the ps3 into it will be dictated by the connections, but most of today's tv's are more than capable of. You will be fine.
