Highly Suspect - Multiple Accounts...
Just thought I'd toss this here to get feedback/ input.
So, a little while ago, actually, I did post something here yesterday about getting marketing/traffic info from someone which costs X amount of money monthly for Keyword research and what not. I found this guy, let me refer to him as, "George" on a web auction site.
Now, let me get into the nitty gritty of it. It's been a disaster and now the guy is MIA.
What I find interesting is this. Someone selling a product/service here on WF, I'll name him "LUKE" claims that the website sold in that auction site is his. When I asked about it, he claims it is his "partner's" - or "george's". Right. Okay. He seems to be using different aliases and I think not many WF members realize this if they were to pursue his offer.
Add to that, there is another account holder on WF that is in the same niche, I'll name "Gavin", similar marketing strats, similar offer, similar writing style as the guy I met from the auction site - the one named "George". I know this because remember, I fell into it. And it seems like LUKE is using "GAVIN" or other account (if it's not the same person) on WF as credibility to create rep and good standing.
I understand some members have multiple accounts on WF but I was wondering how to go about this. It's just an observation.
Now I am not one to quickly cry wolf here but I do notice some very peculiar similarities. Add to that the reluctance to actually get in touch and talk and it really does make me wonder.
My concern is, if this is the same person that supposedly duped me, I would like to blow the whistle on him to keep him from doing the same to others.
By the way, in ending this, I would say that the names are fictional and random to protect the identities of the person(s) involved should this be a misunderstanding.
And, I already contacted WF about this to ask for advice. I am just wondering what you fellow WF members think of this.
To conclude -- and to simplify, it seems like there is ONE person who is using different aliases to sell products/services...but it seems he is using his other screen names for "positive feedback"
Thanks.
