It's Saturday evening and here we are spending time on the computer! New age music in the background, and a grilled cheese sandwich for me. How about you? How square and unhip can you get, daddy-o?

Sounds like a good Saturday night except I had scrambled ham and eggs with cheese...and Vernor's ginger ale!

Few minutes on the computer - then a movie. I'm ticked off that the time changes tonight and I lose an hour. It snuck up on me.

Vernor's ale? Vernor is my wife's brother's name! What are you doing with his ale?

In a related note, apparently Bulmer's Cider is popular in some parts of the world ... but it has nothing to do with me! No relation that I know of.

In a related note (to the topic) my wife just called me up to supper! (Pork ribs, for those keeping a tally.)

While eating, I'll check to see how my Edmonton Oilers are doing (last I checked, they were last in the league!)

Then we'll watch the last half of the movie, Maverick, with mel Gibson, Jodie Foster, James Garner and (the reason I chose to watch this movie this time) Canadian actor Graham Greene!

(Recently watched Dances With Wolves, Kevin Costner and Graham Greene.)

Kay ... I'm ticked off about the time change, too! Totally.

My wife's favorite saying to me..."You're so cool it hurts."
Now that's what I'M talkin' about! That's awesome!

I'm sitting here, perusing WF, ordered Thai takeout tonight and am just about to put the kids to bed. And every day, I am filled with awe and pride that *I* actually turned out to be a computer nerd. How awesome is that??

Thanks for joining me for some fun tonight, folks.

    Nathan, that's a delicious combination, ain't it?

GT, you folks up there put on quite a nice sports show recently, eh?

Hanz, if you keep talking that way, maybe you're not really a geek.

Steven, three pens? I understand the main pen plus the spare, but is there still room left for the slide rule?

Lisa, is there a difference between a nerd and a geek?

grilled cheese...yeah that sounds good, just answered the old what's to eat question.

Kay - I don't drink soda.......except that rare time here and again when I pick up a 6 of Vernor's. Stuff is great - straight or with ginger vodka.

I used to be the ultimate Saturday night party babe - stilletos, satin, and Asti. Now I'm pounding keys getting excited over a pending grilled cheese and half an acorn squash. Holy cow. Anyone got a WSO for a life goin' on right now?
