Need help with Windows 7

Hello everyone,

I just finished installing Windows 7 (64 bit); I skipped Vista completely. I have to say this is a very good operating system, I think it actually runs better then Windows XP.

With that said, I have a quick question, for all you windows 7 veterans. My question relates to the temp directory located at: Computer > Local Disk > Users > Username > AppData > Local > Temp.

I was wondering if it would be safe to delete the contents of this temp folder?

Thank you,
Gordon

Yes, in fact if you "clean up" your hard drive occasionally it will empty this for you.

Should Disk Cleanup be emptying this temp folder for me? If so, its not doing a very good job. Well anyways, I will go and delete the contents of the folder manually.

      Thank you,
      Gordon

Why are you concerned? Is there a lot of data in the folder size-wise or are you concerned about viruses?
