Question About Paypal e-Checks

You know when you pay for something throigh paypal, there is the return to merchant button to download whatever you bought, right?

So, if someone pays for an echeck and it has to clear, do they get the return to merchant button right after paying with the echeck or does it not have the button and emails them a link after the echeck has cleared?

    I would say 99% of the time I have purchased it went either from a CC or directly from my bank.
    The one or two times over the years I have sent an e-check ( usually by mistake) I get sent to a page that says I will receive the item after my check has cleared.
