  I, too, would like to offer my thanks to the many men and women that have fought and are still fighting for the freedoms we enjoy not only in the US, but in other countries around the world.
  
  Freedom is a great thing, but the sacrifice we must make is such a high price to pay!
  
  It seems that thanks just isn't enough, but as I search for the right words to say or the right actions to take toward one of these brave men or women (and please also remember those that wear a badge and keep law and order in the streets and rescue victims from major catastrophes as well...I'm talking about Police and Fire Departments all over too)...it seems that there isn't a language out there that can quite express everything we OWE to these men and women, not just this day, but every day of our lives.

I second that or third or fourth .... Your service and sacrifice to the people of the US is deeply appreciated. Happy Memorial Day. I wish all those overseas could be in their backyards having a BBQ

I don't mean to be a party pooper, but veteran's day is in November. Ask any veteran, today is about remembering those who died in the service of their/our country...

I went to a parade today, and you can hear a pin drop during the event. It somehow seemed very appropriate, while very sad too.
