Where have my other 48 posts gone?!
None of them were spam, and all were informative and relevent to the topic.

Is this a forum bug?

    You just joined today and you posted 50 times already. Were these short posts, much like your OP in this thread? Maybe one liners? Going on a one-line rampage (especially all in one day) can get your posts deleted.

    I'm not a mod (well, other than a "member mod"), and I didn't see those posts, so I can't say for sure what happened. But there's a strong possibility that they were deleted cause it looked like you were just trying to boost your post count.

    P.S. Everyone on this forum has posts disappear. I bet I've had hundreds go *poof* over the years. Just move on and focus on helping others/contributing.

    Nope.

    Wasn't me, but I'd have done it if I'd seen that many one-liners from a less-than-a-day member.

    Cruising through and posting a bucketload of quickies is a good way to get the wrong kind of attention. That put you on the radar of the mod who deleted the dross. Asking about it here put you on my radar.

      BTW just so people realize.... I am USUALLY not so brief, I have a LOT of posts, and posts HERE don't count anyway. I just got a kick out of this statement and figured a thankyou was too brief!

    Don't know where you got the idea that these were all 'one-liner' posts, they were all decent, contributive posts which were all entirely relative to the subject matter.

    I find it somewhat unprofessional for posts to be deleted (especially considering even if one or two were 'too short' the moderator evidently didn't read through all of my posts) without any notification from any staff members.

    Finding myself somewhat suprised considering i'd been told that the staff here were very professional.

      OK, this sets up a red flag for me. You discussed the "staff" with others, etc....

      That's okay. You're entitled to whatever definition of "unprofessional" you choose to employ. I will tell you, though, that so much as one more post from you griping about your posts being deleted will get your account deleted.

      TWO threads? How can that be? We're all allowed at least 3 threads of twaddle about deleted posts. THAT is why we have the 40,000 threads out there titled "More twaddle gets blasted". WHAT? You mean they deleted those threads TOO!?!?!? GEE, maybe we should post ANOTHER thread!

      48+2=50

      50, IIRC, is the point where you can PM. Maybe THAT is the point.

      But one reason why it is 50 is because it takes like an hour or more to post that many, and the moderators can back out worthless posts. If they do, you lose credit. In this case, 50-48=2, so he needs still ANOTHER 48!

      BTW Willy doesn't reallize mean anything in the US. I didn't know about willy until I heard that brits were laughing at a film called "free willy". Willy was the name of a killer whale in the film. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106965/ In the US, the term is Peter or Johnson. Don't ask me why!

    What's your hurry? I only post when I have something good to add to the conversation. Why have you posted so many entries in such a short period of time? What's your goal here? I also see you have no picture or information about who you are in your profile.

    Those things make me wonder what your true motives are to this forum. Play by the rules and you can stay in the community. If you are here to spam and make trouble, your days are numbered. So what's it gonna be?
