  I've got 3 out of 4 kids older then you.
  If most of your experiences where hurtful ones, it sounds like you need help more so then being qualified to give help.

Ian, God Bless you for wanting to help others...but your age may serve as a detterent especially those of us who are a weeee bit older and have experienced (possibly) a tad bit more in the Love-related area of life. Of course, there's no correct age limit for understanding and learning about love...from my perception that is a lifelong lesson. I can guarantee that I have learned A LOT more about love (especially from a spiritual viewpoint) in the last few years than I ever learned or understood in the 13 years I was married. Hopefully, the lots of experience (pretty much the hurtful ones) that you have gone through have enabled you to focus on and find the experiences that bring you joy.

  men..thats is pretty much awkward.. It happened to me thinking that my bestfriend was just giving advice to my ex then suddenly "cling" there's a connection already.. so here it goes.. We really cant stop if we fall to sameone..its because...."we cant control our feelings." so if your bestfriend fell inlove with your ex then you cant do anything about it. For your bestfriend side, i know he feels guilt deep inside.. It's good if your bestfriend approached you first before you know it.. but if he didnt gave an effort approaching you or something..>> he's not a true friend.. It's really sucks to know that your bestfriend is with your ex..its really kind of awkward.. Friendship is lost men..but it can be settled if he explain's to you sincerely his side or something..but if he dont give any concern or approach, then forget it..go out and have fun..dont mess up like what they did.. like we always say..there is plenty of fishes in the sea.. maybe there is something coming into your life which is far greater than her right? anything is possible in this world..
  For me, if i'm really a true friend..i would not go into that because i will never be happy thinking that im with my bestfriends ex.. =)
