LOL. I worked once with a guy who thought so. Every time he heard rock and roll he called it the devil's music. We fixed his wagon. One day we took in some hard rock gospel and when he started yacking about satan, we just told him to listen to the words (the group was BloodGood. He clamed up and never said another word about it. LOL. Freakazoid.

I think I'm ready for a break from politics myself. I even hung up on Obama today. It felt real freakin' good, too.

Actually, he's partly right. It really depends on the lyrics, though. Some of the lyrics are rather nasty, and if you start singing along without paying attention to what you're saying, you could inadvertently end up repeating what is, in essence, a satanic prayer. Not good. Even just listening to that sort of music is probably not good. You want to fill your mind with positive thoughts, not "mind pollution." Having said all that, I think most rock music is probably okay.

                Got to agree with Kim.

Yes there are satanic bands. That is not the norm and it is idiocy to presume that if you accidentally sing lyrics that are satanic without any volition of satanic that you are going to conjure demons or sell your soul south any more than accidentally singing Christain lyrics in gospel rock is gonna get you to heaven. There are many more social activist bands than satanic. And a far greater number of them don't deal with either.

Your statement, Phil, is one of the reasons you will never find me stepping foot in a Christian church for any reasons other than a wedding or funeral.

I didn't presume anything. As I told Kim, I learned this the hard way. And you read way too much into what I said.

What I said has nothing to do with Christianity. Maybe I shouldn't have used the phrase "satanic prayer," but I thought it seemed like a reasonable approximation of the concept that I was trying to convey.

Hey pal, I can assure you that it's not ridiculous. I used to think the same thing until I found out the hard way-- personal experience. So it's not conjecture. If positive thoughts can affect a person, you don't think negative ones can? You better believe they can.

Great minds think alike Allen - you took the words right out of my mouth.

OF COURSE, we will start right in on what a lousy job the current admin is doing and wow get ready for a whole new crop of conspiracy theories!

There is always that once in 1,000,000,000 chance one of them will be able to keep one of their promises or actually formulate a plan that will get facilitated.

More likely, although it is the wrong end of the stick, if we have lefty at the helm and a leftist senate and congress then something might actually get done - (and God help us).

The usual is tit for tat sort of game they play with people's lives - the admin proposes something and then they are overuled by the legislature.

We will have many things to choose from, beginning with Vote Fraud. The NeoCons have won. Both major candidates voted to rob you, your children and your grandchildren of over $700 billion to bail out big corporations that were forced by government regulations to give mortgages to people who could not afford to make payments. Ron Paul should have won, but the election was stolen by the same people who brought us the 9-11 inside job. It's time to restore the constitution! The USA and the world is infected with a virus that needs to be removed.

Let's see, I'm sure there's more, but that should about do it for now.

What will we talk about? The riots.

Just wait and see what happens if John McCain wins tomorrow. And don't say he's not going to win, because he has a very good chance of winning.
