I just got an account with Alertpay, but I would like to be sure its secure enough for online transactions.

Thanks for your contributions.

In WHAT way? It IS SSL, so data to/from is about as secure as you will get on the internet with HTTPS. It is technically ILLEGAL, it is STUPID, and it violates ALL credit cards out there if they don't have an encrypted gateway. You can BET they have THAT! It has been around a while, so I'm sure they MUST have their own server. That leaves their internal security. Various states in the US, and possibly the US federal government now demand that meangful data THERE be handled properly.

So I would say it probably is secure.

In what way do you mean?

Thanks for your contributions seasoned, I am actually skeptical about the whole thing since I had to load my mastercard/Visa card details to Alertpay, I just wanted to be really sure its safe with them.

      I appreciate you response. Thanks

If YOU don't feel you can trust them with that, why do you feel anyone should? OK, paypal has the same problem. The answer is simple! don't accept any cash or equivalent over the internet. Of course, brick and mortar have the SAME problem. So do visa/mastercard and amex. So HEY, just don't accept credit cards anywhere.

I think it's quite safe to use Alerpay for money transactions because all over the world people are mostly using Alertpay where they are not able to use Paypal as their payment processor. So if it wasn't secure then people wouldn't be using Alertpay a lot, so it's safe until you make a mistake understanding their terms and condition of use.

    Thank You.

I was actually in a web conference where the owner, from India spoke to the group. He sounded very reputable.

It has to be about as secure as Paypal - nothing is bullet-proof - but if the proper procedures are followed usually everything is ok (this includes the user being as sure as possible that his system has not been hacked or phished by using good security and common sense...

I like the fact that AlertPay allows some countries that Paypal and Clickbank don't allow. It only seems fair since every country has crooks and it is not fair to prevent a whole country from doing business because of a high fraud rate from a minority of their citizens.

Thanks Patrician and magictrickstutorial for your contributions, I feel more comfortable based on the comments have so far receipt and the fact that it provides room for some other countries unaccepted by Pal and clickbank.

I just hope they maintain their standard as this is very essential.

      Thanks

I have been using AlertPay for my online transactions for a long time now and I have never had any problems with it. So, I think AlertPay is secure though there's no entirely perfect human system.

One of my friend had serious problems with them, and he also lost a good amount of money. My Alertpay works fine since of 2009.

Actually, if you scam, commit fraud, money launder, any decent ****AND SECURE**** third party WILL cause you to "lose a lot of money". IDEALLY over 100%!

So I wish people would state what they did leading up to such things.
