Grrr it keeps insisting on embedding so I've removed the http:// to spare delicate sensibilities. Just put that in front of it and you'll be good to go.

I just typed a long answer to you Phnx and then the page refreshed and it was gone!

Well, the short version is I am not and have never been an Obama fan. Maybe you got that mistaken belief because I have defended him at times when poeple have posted outright lies about him or made posts to create untrue rumours,but as I posted numerous times, I was (until the last thread about the guy) a Ron Paul fan.

Now, I know my sense of humour is a tad strange, but the whole point of the therad was that it didn't matter who won or lost,and no matter what all the naysayers wanted to say, the world is still here.
The sky did not open up and lightening reign down on us, The ground did not open up ands swallowed up cities. Contrary to many, it was not the end of the world.
It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine!

Now let me go try to watch your vid, maybe I'll come report back.

Edit: Okie Dokie, thats a classic. I have seen it before,but it has been a while.How ironic if you click more info the poster pleads for people to vote for Ron Paul.

This thread be cursed! Similar thing happened when I was replying - went to delete a smilie but pressed the enter key and whoosh the page refreshed and it was gone.

Ah, gotcha. I'd still vote Ron Paul (ignoring the fact I'm not American and the election is over of course :rolleyes: )

Aye I know.

My point was while the world may still be here and nothing's changed because a black man was voted in - nothing's changed. Same ole same ole running the show, just the surface glitter gets a new gloss ocassionally.

Though there was a rather ugly sexism revealed and it'll be interesting to see if there is any self reflection by the Democrats. My mate's a long time liberal from California and like many other "dried up old bitches" she is now registered as Independant. I suspect there are many other disillusioned women who were shocked at the venom aimed at their gender.

I'll be mighty interested to see if Obama dumps - or drastically amends - The Patriot Act - and gets rid of all those dictatorial powers Bush gave himself. Otherwise, he's got those autocratic powers just waiting to be triggered should he have the desire.

I just glad we hopefully only have 73 days of bush left.
I did see on the news today O having a meeting with a group of economic advisers. I also heard on MSNBC that Warren Buffet was one of them.
I'm with Kim as far as Paul. I ended up voting Green Party even though I don't agree at all with their Illegal Immigrate stance, I do like a lot of what they stand for.
