Hi, I am trying to do my marketing research using a proxy server. I this case proxify. When I use the intitle:"keyword"inanchor:"keyword", I can only get one or two searches before google gives me the message "we're sorry, but you appear to be making automated searches from your ip address. I thought that was the reason for using a proxy server, to remain anonymous. Can anyone help me with this? I have used proxify, hidemyass, and cloaker all with the same results.

Actually, a proxy server was NOT designed to allow you to violate terms. And Google is NOT punishing YOU! It is punishing those that misuse its service. It doesn't matter if your name is frank, tom, mary, lassie, or whoever.

My only suggestion would be to space out your research over time. For example if you are looking to do some article marketing, try writing a paragraph then making a search, then writing another paragraph ect. Multitask to you advantage and you will find that not only are you able synthesize your research process but you will also be able to get more done. You might be surprised to find how much the change of pace can open you up to new ideas. Just a thought.
