Another reason why it should be legalized and we should get a huge apology from everyone who has kept it illegal

Too right ThomM couldn't agree more!Ok we know it's bad for us but 22,000 die from alcohol every year and this figures rising, compared to 0 as a direct result of smoking canabis you do the math!

They found THE cure for MRSA 163 years ago. If they took things seriously, MRSA may not have ever existed, etc... Instead the locked the guy up, battered him, till he succumbed of the very thing they claimed didn't exist, etc... and they waited until Lister found a later paper written by Pasteur! If the nurses, etc... just tried to keep sterile between patients, and kept patients safe, MRSA may never have occured, and pneumonia would be rather rare.

BTW I HAVE heard of people that died from injuries and other problems sustained as a result of cannibis. So don't think it has no problems!

BTW I doubt 22,000 die as a DIRECT result of alcohol, so THAT would be indirect as well, most likely. Car crashes for example, could happen in either case.

Wow - I must be naturally stoned.

I just read somewhere that they have made a soda pop with cannibus for medicinal users. I remember when the secret ingredient in Coca Cola was cocaine. When my grandmother was a kid you could order a coke spoon of cocaine to put in your fountain drinks at drug stores (young people in here might not even remember drug store soda fountains at all).

Anyhow - I'm thinking that when it's legalized, we're going to see all sorts of pot goodies on the market. I'm thinking pot pop will probably be stocked by your local liquor store.

Kurt - I don't know exact stats from polls, etc - But the Governator out here just dropped the penalty for being caught with less than an ounce of pot from a misdemeanor to a citation, so I'd say that is one indication that the prospects of legalization are pretty good. With the cartels sitting on pot fields out here (and being prone to shooting people who accidentally wander across them), I would say the support of anything that will put that mess to bed is going to be very high. Arnold also just vetoed a bill that would give more money to illegals for education at a time that citizens are having a hard time getting money for it. I know there is little relation between the two, but it shows tolerance for illegals is starting to wear thin here so people voting from that mindset will more than likely vote legalization.

Actually........I don't remember talking to anyone out here that is not in support of the bill to legalize. Even people I would have suspected to be dead against it seem to be finding favor for legalization for one reason or another. Taxes, safety, own enjoyment.

This state is so screwed up that I can't even believe it hasn't imploded yet. Maybe politicians will help the bill into law thinking that if we're all stoned, we won't notice what havoc they are creating. (LOL)

I meant to leave such things out, and later meant to note that, but still. And some just mention mj. Still, I guess they must both be exonerated then because when many smoke, they do something else, and drinking is a favorite. ALSO, when they drink, it is almost always with smoking or being around it.

BTW ca pot workers are going to be UNIONIZED! Legalization may actually INCREASE the price! 8-)
