WOW, if it IS real, I hope they paid a FORTUNE!

IMAGINE how much a collection could be deemed to be worth! An uncle of mine collects JB decanters. One of my favorite anecdotes is about an idiot liar that tried to CHEAT me! He sold me a decanter claiming it was the latest. LUCKILY, my uncle didn't have it, but the decanter was a few years older than he said. I CHECKED with the JB exchange, as they have their own exchange. It was worth over THREE times what I paid for it! $300! Some are SIGNED, LIMITED, and for a special occasion. I believe some are even LOCAL! AND, of course, over time....

Too funny! Had to be a set-up. Stop the video and look at how the cups are stacked. And just a the point where he talks about "35 years" you get a close-up of the person speaking while in the background the cups are stacked on a shelf that appears to sag.

Then, of course, there are the stacked cups in the middle of the room just below where the center of the fan lands.

It looks like an old QVC set.

  I would prefer it to be a set-up, personally. It would make it a lot easier to laugh at knowing the whole episode was constructed for other's amusement.
  
  If it was a serendipitous act, and that guy really did lose his life's collection of mugs, that would not be as funny, rather it would be a tad shocking.
  
  Perfect timing on that mike boom grab by the ceiling fan, though.
