Just be careful. There are a lot of newbies trying to teach newbies how to make money online here. A lot of the claims you will read here are grossly exaggerated.

bravo75 is very much correct. Also don't put too much stake in paid products until you have researched what you are looking for. Most "guru" information can be found frr written on blogs, websites, free guides etc if you do some google searching.

You made one video and one article? That was your way of fully exploring a method?

I hate to break it to you, but one video does not make one a "video marketer" and one same article spammed all over the web does not make you an "article marketer."

Do your facebook fans have a common interest? Do you give them valuable information on a regular basis? Have you built trust with them?

Forget finding "the method" but do find a niche. Then see how others are monetizing on that niche, and the method(s) you should use will become much more clear.

Pretend I was one of your facebook fans. Why do I want to buy something from you then? I don't know you from Jack. Would I not be more inclined to buy from someone who I know something about and who can verify they are an authority on a topic?

One major part of marketing is about building trust.

Why do people buy from one brand over another? Better product, great customer service, they know someone at the store, etc.

This is no different online. I need to be exposed to your offer, and then I need to be convinced that I need that thing, and I also want to know that you are the right person to be recommending that thing to me.

If you don't have the money to invest in your business, then you need to do all this legwork yourself. If you are not willing to do it all yourself, then you may not be a good candidate for being an owner of an online business.

You can't just put a link on the web and expect everyone to be nice and click it. Just like you can't just stick a website up saying "buy this" and expect that is all you need to do and the traffic will just come flowing in like magic and buy your stuff.

Your head and ideas are completely in the wrong place. You need to consider the customer and what they are going to experience. What triggers you to buy something? Do you like getting freebies? Do you like to know the sales person - does this make you trust them just a bit more? What problems do you have? Do you think others might have those same problems? Do you know how to solve that problem, and then help others to solve the same problem?

First off it takes a lot more work than 1 article and 52 friends on your Facebook page. Keep adding articles, start a blog, make forum posts, submit press releases, and keep at it.

This is a business treat it as such.... It takes a lot of hard work in the beginning be prepared for it if you want to reap the rewards down the line.

Making money online is not for everyone it takes a special breed of person to stick with it long enough to see the huge potential. Most people are too lazy, and give up way too easily in the beginning before they even start too see results. Keep learning all you can about Internet marketing, it will come eventually if you want it bad enough.

Don't be one of the statistics work hard, and make your dreams a reality. Good luck, and nice to meet you!

Trying something and actually getting somewhere are two different things. If you have limited funds you should be writing your own articles for example, instead of getting one mass submitted. Choose maybe four article directories at the most to start with. Put a profile up on the ones that accept them; Nut out your author's bio so that is flows naturally from the end of the your article to encourage your reader to click your link. Write a minimum of five articles a day if you can and keep going. What will happen is your readers will start to see you as an expert in your niche and they will be a lot more keen to try something you are promoting.

When you have your articles accepted join forums in your niche and put your article and/or web links in your signature line - this will increase the amount of traffic to your link. Spend time blog commenting using either your own site (BTW you should have your own blog at least) or your article links for people to click through to. You should note that if you don't have your own blog or site then you are going to have to drive traffic to your article pages and that is not a good use of your time - it is better to have your own page somewhere at least and take advantage of any traffic you do get by setting up an autoresponder to build a list.

This is just a couple of ideas. You will find so many more on this forum. But set yourself a schedule every day and be disciplined about it and you will see positive results.

    All the best,
    Lisa

One month is not long, there are people here that have been trying to make a steady income for months. You don't automatically make money just because to put something on the Internet. If it were that easy, everyone here would be rolling in the cash.

It takes a lot of time and hard work to make a steady income online.

If you are not going to take advantage of Facebook, don't even log on, it's a waste of your time.

And you got this information where? lol BTW, that is called affiliate marketing - which is one of the methods you were asking about. So if affiliate marketing does not work according to you, then you can cross that off your list of what you want to learn about.

So, the question here is - does the offer suck? Or was it not marketed to the right people? Or was it not exposed to enough people?

You just need to do one thing, and do it right, instead of trying to manage 10 things at a time. Since you are very new to all this, you need time to first strengthen your basics, so that you can later experiment and come up with new and interesting techniques. Hope that helps

Hi ... welcome to the forum. You've got a lot of resources here to get you started on something profitable. There's also the War Room, which is a one time fee of $37 to join, but well worth it. Lots of free information and ebooks available in there that aren't available on the main forum. Plus you can run a WSO if you ever decide to go the "your own product" route.

You've tried a few things that haven't panned out. Read and learn. It won't come fast or easy, but it's doable.

To every newbie here, just remember online marketing is not a get rich quick proposition. It is rare that a newbie strikes it right the first time and makes money within days or months.

Reality is that there is a learning curve. Be ready to take months to learn this way of marketing. Took me two years before I made some meaningful money. Trial and error are the best "teachers."

You have to be ready to work your tail off and learn and practice what you learned. And lastly, if you are not persistent and positive minded, you are going to fail.

Keep visiting here and learn all you can. There is no "free ride."

Not so much something wrong, but a non-profitable niche, you can start by having a look at your fans on Facebook and trying to identify which product or service would appeal to them, then finding say an affiliate product for that product or service and marketing to them, then do what you did for that article marketing, and video marketing for your product
