This is because everything you have found most likely was a sales pitch. This forum is a good start because people actually contribute without trying to sell their products and services. There was a thread with compilation of best threads from the forum especially for newbies. Maybe someone can link to that thread?

Best thing you can do is do a search for affiliate marketing (if thats what you really want to start out with) and read as many threads as you can. You can learn a heck of a lot here. Also join the War Room, it's a one time $37 fee and it's packed with incredible information.

Contribute as much as you can but make sure you read as much as you can. One other excellent bit of advice, read the rules too. As with all forums there are rules and the moderators stick to them. Other than that have a great time but I assure you this could have been the best decision you ever made, I wish I had when I started.

Hi, Red. Welcome to the Warrior Forum. I'm new here, too. Let me assure you ... you are in the right place. I've got more solid info here than I have anywhere else.

I know it's confusing. There are just so many different approaches and systems out there ... it's tough to know where to start.

I recommend you start with the Presell Mastery WSO by Paul Hancox. It's simply the best information I've ever seen about how to create content that gets your prospect into the right frame of mind for buying.

Paul really knows his stuff. And he gives a lot of examples.

It's a solid foundation you can build on. Understanding how to presell your prospects will help you no matter what you're trying to market.

One word of warning ... it's easy to hop around from one thing to another. Don't. Focus on one thing, learn it well, and put it to use. Then when you've made it an effective part of your business, move on to the next thing.

It's so easy to get distracted by all the shiny new toys. lol

Check out the list of All-In-One threads at the top of the main forum - can't remember right now but I'd bet there's one for affiliate marketing.

I would read that, do some experimenting yourself, and THEN join the War Room. Otherwise you will be overwhelmed by information you can't yet make use of, and you'll probably lose focus.

Hi Eric. I just got into internet marketing a few months ago, and learned that it is something you can really pick up quickly with the right help and instruction. I got to receive an early copy of Wealthinabox and have found that it is the best way to learn online marketing that I have tried. Hope this helps.

I'm a newby to this free website from free site signup gave the training I need to get started with the step-by-step training is great at lest it was for me.

Firstly you need a website or something to put some online content.

Then you need content.

Then you need traffic.

Then you need some sort of conversions or a steady stream of mass amounts of traffic.

That's the idea behind it but if you're only new you'll need to pick up something and start reading.

Try some blogging books for beginners and setup a blog then start blogging and you'll eventually get the hang of things.

Well, I suggest following someone who's barely starting out online who already has something started and not to busy to answer some questions for you. I can definitely help somewhat. I just started a few months ago myself and I'm getting better as each day passes.

Some good advice here but keep your wallet lock up for a while until find your way. Beware of info overlaond and being coming info junkie

The SIMPLEST way to start making money, for next to nothing, is with Article marketing.

Here is a simple, but complete game plan. I'll try to answer any questions you have - and I'm sure many will jump in to help as well.

1. You'll need to pick a niche to promote. I'll help you with this:

You want to start with anything that is desperate for a solution and possibly evergreen, meaning the problem will always be there.

Here are a few examples:

1. Weight loss - something like "weight loss before a wedding" could be good.
2. "Get your ex back' or anything relationship related. Getting women, boyfriends, breakup advice, etc. etc.
3. Wealth, debt, making money.

These three tend to be the "Big Three" quite popular but very profitable.

You can drill down - go to Digital Products Retailer: Affiliate Program & Sell Online - ClickBank and sign up for an account. It's free. Then search the product categories for various ideas for niches.

Next you can search RAP Bank*Instant Commissions Vault for the same thing. The difference is, these are instant to paypal commissions. Every time you make a sale, it goes straight to your paypal.

Anyway, the point being, PICK SOMETHING and stick with it for a month or two to see if it's profitable.

2. After that, you need to understand the niche - what their problem is and why they buy.

You can get this information in 2 places:

The first is quantcast.com

This gives you the demographics - age, sex, interests, income, etc. Find a popular site in your niche and plug it in.

Note that it isn't always completely accurate but it is better than guessing.

Next, go to google and find niche forums on the subject. Find people who have posted problems and are asking for solutions.

You'll find a lot of posts, depending on the niche - and you want to look at these and REALLY understand them. Get to the EMOTIONS - the RAW emotions of their problems, their desires and how they would feel with the solution.

I will help you with this if you do it and post it in the forum.


3. After you do niche forum research, you need to register a domain name and pick a product to promote in the niche.

You want to try and find a product to promote that has a sales page that matches the niches wants and desires - does it look like people in this niche would buy the product?

If so, then choose that product and get your affiliate hoplink. (if it's at clickbank)

You will then register the domain name and set it to forward to the sales page. If you need help with this, ask or search the forum and you will find the answer.


Finally, you begin writing articles. Go sign up to EzineArticles Submission - Submit Your Best Quality Original Articles For Massive Exposure, Ezine Publishers Get 25 Free Article Reprints

It's a free account. Note that you have 10 articles to need to get approved before you can upload unlimited.

You want these articles to be REALLY good - the better they are, the faster they will get approved and the better chances of getting platinum.

On the internet, its flooded everywhere with do this , do that , join this. and this type of overloaded info. is overwhelming to a new person that has came aboard.
