Comic Sans is a casual script typeface modeled on fonts used in American comic books for several decades. It is mostly viewed on Snoopy as far as i know. It has a strong appeal on comics. But i dont think it shows weakness / poor form when using it, it depends upon the viewer.

It all depends on the context I guess

Yes i guess. The font is nothing, the important is the message as long as it is readable. It is not suggested to use on bussiness text because you look old school and you live year 1950's. Better to use gothic font for style but always, Times new roman for bussiness ( for me )

I like comic sans. I think it's a cute font, but not necessarily fit for business purposes.

Oh man, that comic sans criminal site is pretty hilarious.

In the right circumstances (not very many) it's alright, I guess. But for whatever reason, people tend to use it for notices at the office or whatever. I guess they probably use it because it's available on all computers and sorta looks like handwriting. blah

All I know is that it sure seems to attract the same "type" of people to use it.

I love comic sans..........I used to do my resumes on grey briquette paper with Flintstone font. You'd be surprised how high my call back rate was with that one. Maybe they were just curious but I always got interview offers from it.

I am use to using Comic Sans because I worked with children. All my hand outs, power points, etc was made in something "childish" or "kid friendly" font. So it is so normal to me that I never gave it a second thought. I guess I will change my sig so I can be redeemed ASAP. Off to find an appropriate font...lol.

Ok, is this better? I believe it is Tahoma because I didn't want something completely boring like Times or Arial.

I guess there aren't a lot of graphic design nerds here, but comic sans is criminally ugly.
