I was gone a few days too but you didn't notice cause you were gone so you are exempt from having to miss me.

How long was the drive??

I used to have to go on 6 hour drives I hates it sooo bad and was so exhausted. Now I frequently have to go on 1 hour drives on these awful curvy roads and I hate that too.

How much did you have to spend on gas??

Well now you need to catch up from all the time you missed here!!!

AnnoyedG. - The drive was 2 thousand someodd hundred miles. Gas ranged from about 2.35 pg to 1.77 pg (that was in the sticks of Iowa). Gas cost about 500 for the whole trip, with the side trip to Utah included, which was a heavenly treat as I had expected somewhere around 900 just before it started to plummet.

Allen - Safe trip? LOL -- you should have been in the passenger seat for the trip over the Pass in Laramie, WY. Hahahahahahha. White out snow. The only reason I kept going because I was scared crapless they would shut the highway and I'd be trapped in Wyoming for days. It helped that I was the only vehicle moving for most of the trip through it. LOL.

Kay -- Oh, you have never been so right in your life. I walk outside and hear the Yakima river flowing beside me and feel like I have ascended.

Ken - Uh...gee thanks. I'm so sorry, but the rain you sent is not being received. I am on the DRY side of the Cascades, LOL. Someday you'll have to take a drive over this way - the sky is a very interesting color of blue that you probably don't get to see between the rain and the smog. Don't be scared if you venture over here - it's supposed to look like that. As far as the rocks, I'm sure I'll be able to find agates the color of cornflowers no matter where you stashed them.

Pat - Munchie is a terrible backseat driver. He watches for me to put my blinkers on because he knows when we go off highway and start hitting the back roads that's his cue that we are gonna do something fun. He will watch and watch and starts dancing every time my hand goes near the signals. When he wants out he puts his nose right against the windshield and whines. Once the turn signal goes on he starts jumping between the backseat and front putting his nose up against all the windows to see where is gonna run. LOL. But yeah - I am extreme in fortune for having my little pal....even if I have to clean my windows continually.
