Glam rock was one of my guilty pleasures. Hard to say who my favorite glam
rock bands were, but I'd have to put The Sweet up near the top of the list.

Little Willy was like my favorite song of 1973.

Almost ashamed to admit that now, but hell...I was only 16 years old.

What the hell did I know about good music? :confused:

Wow. We used to make fun of most of these songs and bands... although I DID like Bowie.

I must admit though - these days I have many of these on my IPod. They grew on me when I started listening again. Sorta like Disco did

I had never heard this by the Glitter Band before,but when I started listening to it I just KNEW I had heard the song before.
I'm not sure if this is the version I remember,but its a lot closer to it than the Glitter Band version.

I only know the original, but found another version below. It's by one of the original members of the Glitter Band and the co-writer of the song, who brought it out as a single under a new name:

Good version.
The more I thought about it I am pretty sure it was the Shock version I had heard before.
Doesn't matter, its a great song and I have loved listening to all 3 versions today.
My God, I don't think I have even thought of this song in 30 years!
