Do you take often backup of your file?

How often do you take backup of your files, my documents etc?

I take just on every shutdown! I use a free automatic backup at shutdown. I have a second hdd inside my computer and I feel very safe. Except from stealing my computer. This is a bad scenario!

    I never do that, and recently my hdd just broken so everything got lost, it seems like I should form this habit from now on.

    I've lost so many important files in the past. Doesn't look like I've learned completely because I still have a bunch of my stuff I haven't backed up yet. My most important files are saved on one or two hard drives, but anything recent (within the last 2 months) isn't backed up yet =/

    I should really get backup software. I already have the harddrives for it (2TB WDD My Book should cover it)

    I use an online backup service and I have set it up so that it backs up my files while I am sleeping. So everything gets backed up every night

      back up is the most important thing and we should take back ups on daily basis if possible. It will help us to recover data in any disasters recovery.

    i'm using windows 7 ultimate and i can restore my system to a specified date if i want to

    but yes i still keep a back up of all my important files specially the pictures and videos of family

    last year i lost some electronic documents and needed help from a company that recovers lost files

    the service of werecover [dot] com was amazingly superb

    however, i taught me to always keep back ups in case of emergency

    Well its always very very important to backup of your important data, i usually do backup on USB and also on Email id of my important data. Both were essential and can reached at any time. Sometime internet backup can give you more facility than USB.
