My hopes for a Super Bowl I actually care about are still alive.

And that jerk Belachump can go home and stew in some plum pudding.

I don't know who I despise more...him or Tom Brady.

Good riddance to both of them.

    Hello,
it is so nice when the Jets are winning by a score that they can't lose by in the last minute, I hope those days are over.
That was a great game, the best that I have seen in a long time.

I was a great game - a real nail biter.

I wanted the Jets to win and the Jets are on a defensive tear shutting down my Colts and now the Patriots in conscutive weeks.

The Steelers better be careful next week.

Will the Jets talk a lot of smack this week??

Most likely because that's their style

Probably not as much as they did with the Pats since the Steelers are not division rivals.

As a long time Giants fan, I have to admit, it has been a blast watching the Jets come this far. Unlike a lot of experts, I gave them a better chance against the Pats then I did the Colts. Indy has their number usually, while Rex was 2 and 2 against the Pats in the last 2 years.

Looking forward to the game. Should be another good one.

Something I heard last night: Steelers are 12 and 1 in home playoff games.

It was a good game. Sadly my Pats were not the victor. Best of luck to your Jets in the playoffs, Steven!

Hi Jen, fellow pats fan here too. NH be exact. That was one of the hardest things to watch I can remember. I will say thought that the defensive game plan the jets cam up with was pretty great.

But that sure was a fun game to watch. I know where I'll be next weekend.
I was a Belichick fan from his days as the Giants defensive coordinator. He never smiled much then either and that goes back to 1986. It's just his personality. I still think he's a very good coach though. But I'm glad he got beat

For your sake, Steven, I hope the Jets make it to the Superbowl.

Of course, they'll lose to the Packers, but hey, they took you all the way to the final game of the season.

Packers look tough. Rodgers is thought of very highly on our sports radio shows. In fact, this morning on WFAN they were commenting how Rodgers is just playing on a whole other level right now. He's gonna be tough to beat.

Of course, they said that about Brady and New England too. Maybe it's an omen

Should be a fantastic Conference Champion weekend...

If it does come down to the Packers and Jets, I think it will be a different kind of game than the one the played earlier this year. I doubt if the Packers can shut out the Jets twice, and I doubt if the Jets can hold the Pack to just 9 points. It would be interesting to see who adjusts the best.

Don't know if you watched the Packers dominate the Falcons, but Rodgers was on fire the whole game. Of course, the Jets have to get past the Steelers, and that won't be easy. Same with the Packers and the Bears. Looking forward to good games the rest of the way.

I think it will be different for the Jets this week as it will be for Green Bay.

This past week the Jets played a division rival. They know the Pats very well and subsequently were able to prepare thoroughly. That's why they could beat them twice in a season (as well as get spanked by 42 points). The Steelers are not in their division so it will be different for both teams in preparation.

Same with GB and Atlanta this past week.

But GB are playing a division rival this week - two teams that know each other well. It will come down to (I believe) time of possession and turnovers.

I know what I'm doing this weekend...

I'll probably pick Pittsburgh in my pool (sorry about that) but I'll be rooting for the Jets because I think the Packers match up better with the Jets than the Steelers.

            So, good luck this weekend!

PS - How much faith do you have in the Jets young quarterback against the Steelers defense?

I'm not all that familiar with the Steelers defense. I can only say that the Jets 'O' line didn't allow a sack against the Pats, but if I recall the Pats defense is somewhere near the bottom of the pack.

All I know is in the last meeting when Jets won, everyone kept saying:

"Well that's because Polamalu was out"

If that team depends that heavily on one player, well, then I see them as no different then playing a team like the Pats. Beatable.

According to the stats, Steelers defense was #1, Jets #7 (overall defense). They seem to be pretty evenly matched in Offense with the Jets run game better then the Steelers, but the Steelers with the number 1 run defense. I suspect the Jets will try to break the run game open first, because if they can find the holes there, the passing game will be easier for Sanchez.

I've always liked the Steelers too. If they weren't playing the Jets, I'd be routing for them

Yes... this should be a very good game.

I can see the Jets being grounded this week. The Steelers are no slouch team and they are just about as lucky as the Jets are. So, look for a close game with Pittsburgh winning 27-24

Fortunately, I'm a Jets fan and my wife is a Steelers fan so whoever wins,
I'll be happy for somebody in the house.

      Should be a good game.

Well, Indy and New England were no slouch teems either...

But my guess is much like yours, only I figured a lower scoring game:

      17 - 14 Steelers

If the Jets can figure out the Steel Curtain run defense, then they will win. Because their pass defense is not as good. But no easy task.
