Titanic vs Avatar

OFF TOPIC

Both are speechless movies. Now the news is Titanic is going to be released in 3-D. James Cameron makes confusion. Which one is going to be superior. What is your thinking?

Won't even be close, Avatar was filmed "in" 3D, while pretty much every other 3D movie was converted from normal film... i.e. why non of them look remotley close to as real and crazy looking that Avatar was. Titanic will be the same, converted, won't look anywhere near as good as Avatar.

To be honest I didn't like the story lines on both of them. Espically Avitar. The storyline was Dances with wolves and the effects reminded me of starwars for some reason.

I miss the old Cameron...TERMINATOR, ALIENS. Movies that had good story. AVATAR looked beautiful, but the story was stale, and I resent it having ushered in this overused 3D trend.

  Bingo... I don't think people realize this, Avatar was made and produced specifically for 3D.
  
  People thinking Titantic will be better in 3D have gotta have a screw loose in the brain, disregarding which movie you prefer itself.
  
  Avatar was "FILMED IN 3D" with stereoscopic imaging. other 3D movies are just 2d that are then converted into 3D hence why they don't even look nearly as good and sharp as Avatar.
  
  Titantic in 3D would be boring to me as the movie was pretty boring to me, people falling, the ship going down are about the only scenes that 3D would show well (and still no where near as good as Avatar as now this is an old film being converted to 3D)... really no other parts that would be used for 3D without looking pointless as it's not an action movie or anything.

If we're talking purely from a 3D standpoint - Avatar hands down. Technologies were developed for the production of that film, technologies that now lead the 3D development for movies. It was a technical display of what potential 3D has and shows that it can be more than a tacked on gimmick - which I believe Titanic 3D is going to be.

Both are really awesome movies and did so well in the box office. They're numbers 1 and 2.
Titanic will always be remembered as a great movie. And if it's made in 3d, i think that you'd love the movie even more. Avatar is the first movie that i watched in 3d and it was best experience!

Avatar is better. In my own opinion, 3-D is not suitable for Titanic. It is my own idea.

Avatar. Seriously I would love to live in a world like that. minus most of the animals pf course I found a message behind it somehow and that's what caught my attention and is probably one of the main reason's I love it so much.

I'd like Titanic, Avatar is so boring, even though the image and effect is so great, the story is a old crap. Titanic is different, most of people love this movie because of the beautiful and heart-touch story.
